family day is here

Today is the day that Steph and Brianna come to visit. You had better believe that I am very excited to see them. This is the last time I will see them before I head out to Iraq. I know it is hard on them to be back in the air flying again when they just return home from Montana just about a week ago. Oh well, it is worth it and I am sure they don't mind.

We will probably just chill out tonight and then get everything started tomorrow. There are several places of interest that we will check out. First, we will obviously check out downtown Seattle's Space Needle, the Woodland Zoo, and the Seattle Aquarium. Then we will head out on a drive and visit Mt. Rainier and Mt St. Helens. There is also a beautiful waterfall on the WA/OR boarder called Multnomah Falls that we may check out. After that who knows, it may be off to Canada and then skipping the deployment all together (jk).

I will certainly have photos to share once we get through our entire site seeing. Brianna is becoming quite the traveling girl. She's been to more places in the Pacific Northwest than she has been to in Indiana. Plus when I get back we are planning on taking a trip to the Caribbean for some much needed r&r after my deployment. She may not remember much, if any, of this but we will have pictures to show her so she can see that she DID enjoy her time there!

Well, it's off to the cabin to check in and wait for them to get here. I have been tracking their flight and they are currently over the Idaho/Washington boarder. Pretty kool what you can do with today's technology. Somebody's always watching you...
